Backyard Bloom was born from a simple belief: your backyard can be more than a lawn. It can be a living ecosystem, a place where bees forage, flowers flourish, and families reconnect with the natural world just outside their door.

Created by Geechee Rooted Farms, Backyard Bloom brings together ecological agriculture, tropical landscapes, and pollinator preservation and most of all translates them into something beautiful, manageable, and meaningful for South Florida homes.

We design, install and care for and professionally managed backyard apiaries that feel intentional, not intimidating. We offer pollinator-friendly planting guidance that works with your soil, sun, and season. We lead educational honey experiences that turn curiosity into connection. We share seasonal ecological storytelling because the best stewardship is rooted in wonder. And we specialize in humane live honeybee relocation services for pollinator preservation in South Florida.

Our goal is simple: To help South Florida bloom beautifully and responsibly. One backyard. One hive. One season at a time. Whether you’re ready for a hive or simply curious about what blooms in your neighborhood, we’re here to help.

What We Grow, Raise, and Protect

Pasture-Raised, Corn-Free, Soy-Free Eggs

Our hens are raised on open pasture, not confined to cages or crowded barns. They forage on grass, bugs, and seeds, and their diet is carefully crafted to be free of corn and soy. The result? Eggs with deep golden yolks, rich flavor, and the kind of nutrition that comes from birds living as they were meant to.

Humane Bee Removal & Hive Hosting

Bees are not pests they are partners. When a swarm finds its way into a home or business, I don’t exterminate. I relocate. I carefully remove the colony and give it a new home where it can thrive. I also work with homeowners to host hives on their own properties, bringing the beauty and benefit of bees to backyards across South Florida.

Managed Hives & Hyperlocal Honey

Our hives are managed with a deep understanding of bee biology and a commitment to chemical-free practices. The honey we harvest is hyperlocal that means a true taste of South Florida’s tropical blooms, from the Redland to the coast.
